FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How do I download or play a song and how do I view lyrics?

To download a song, right click on the blue download link next to the track name then select 'Save Target As' or 'Save Link As'. To download a complete album, left click on the 'Download Album' button and you be redirected to an external site to download (currently Mediafire).

To listen to a song, left click on the blue download link, however you may need to have a plugin such as VLC installed to play songs in your web browser. To view the lyrics, left click on the 'Lyrics' button, which should open the lyrics as an easy to copy text file in a new window.

How do I get the music out of a '.zip' or '.rar' file?

Complete albums will be in .rar or .zip format, and the music files will need to extracted before you can access them. To do this you'll need a file extraction program. If you don't have one I can highly recommend 7-Zip; it's free, simple and gets the job done.

Once 7-Zip is installed, all you have to do is right click on the downloaded '.zip' or '.rar' file and click extract here and the files will be extracted as a new folder in the same location.

I have a song of Paul's that isn't on the site! How do I upload it?

Head over to the 'Submit Music' page and send it in! Remember, only upload songs that are either out of print, released officially for free or have never been released. If the song or album is still available, then you should support Paul and buy it. Fill out all the blanks and remember to provide as much information on the source and performance as possible.

How do I search for a song or album?

Because all the songs are on a single page, a search bar really isn't practical or feasible. I'm looking into ways to implement a solution, but have yet to find something which works across all web browsers. Until then your web browser's built in 'Find In Page' feature will work just fine! Press 'Control' and 'F' or 'Command' and 'F' to enable the feature.

I've found an error in the site! A download link isn't working!

Things break down every now and then. I'm not exactly an expert at website design and download links rely on external services. However most problems can be swiftly fixed. Just send me a message via the contact form to the right of the page detailing the problem and I'll get right on it.
